The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it's alarmed regarding the high variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of sassa status lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company level produced for intervention activities a high influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to empower the servicing of all shoppers and enhance use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
